Emma Blackery announces Feel Good 101 book
When I first heard that Emma was writing a book, before I'd watched the actual announcement video, I honestly thought to myself "oh dear, she's jumped on the book bandwagon, how hypocritical", as I'm sure lots of her followers/viewers did too.
But I've just watched her video announcing the book, which you can watch below if you haven't already, and now I'm really happy that she's made the decision that she has for the reasons that she has.
Emma's upcoming book, which is based on her YouTube series 'Feel Good 101', is an advice book for young people about various experiences that they are likely to go through, such as mental health,. bullying and how to deal with career aspirations (or a lack of). If you wanted to know more, you can check out her previous 'Feel Good 101' videos on her channel.
In her announcement video, she explains her decision to write the book, saying that she is writing it for her eight-year-old sister, Febe, after Emma found out that she watches more YouTubers than Emma does. She released a video on her second channel, Vloggery, explaining that she had changed her mind about YouTuber books, which you can watch below.
The book will be released, potentially worldwide, on September 7th 2017 via Little, Brown Book Group. You can pre-order it here.
So yes, Emma Blackery is writing a book, which is something I never thought I'd see her do, but by the sounds of it, it's going to be amazing.

Black Sabbath play their last ever show
Last night was a sad night for many rock/metal fans, as the great band Black Sabbath played their last ever gig (4th February).
Going back to their roots and playing in Birmingham, at the NEC Arena, the show rounded up their 81-date The End tour.
They played 15 songs from their back catalogue, ending the show with 'Paranoid', the title track from their 1970 album. 'Paranoid' was also live streamed on the band's official Facebook page. You can see the video and set list below.
Original members Ozzy Osbourne, Tommy Iommi and Geezer Butler were on the tour and were the ones to form the band way back in 1968.
Sadly, their keyboardist of 25 years, Geoff Nicholls, died following a long battle with cancer. In tribute, Osbourne said: "Geoff Nicholls was a great friend of mine for a long time. He will be greatly missed. I’m very saddened at the news."
Taking a look back at the band's incredible 49-year career, BBC Radio 1 will air a Black Sabbath special of their Rock Show tonight (5th February).
Black Sabbath's last ever set list:
‘Black Sabbath’
‘Fairies Wear Boots’
‘Under the Sun / Every Day Comes and Goes’
‘After Forever’
‘Into the Void’
‘Snowblind’
‘War Pigs’
‘N.I.B.’
‘Hand of Doom’
‘Supernaut / Sabbath Bloody Sabbath / Megalomania’ (medley)
‘Rat Salad’
‘Iron Man’
‘Dirty Women’
