Sum 41 Tease New Music

It's certainly been a while since we heard from pop-punk band Sum 41, and now two rough mixes of new songs have emerged on the band's official Instagram page which you can check out below.

The band are working on their as yet untitled comeback album which will be their sixth studio release.

Earlier in the year the band set up a PledgeMusic Campaign where you can pre-order the new album and access behind-the-scenes content. They also performed their comeback gig at the APMAs with the return of Dave 'Brownsound' Baksh in July.

Has Travis Barker Confirmed A New blink-182 Album?

blink-182 have been in music news a lot this year after the messy departure of Tom DeLonge and then Alkaline Trio's frontman Matt Skiba joining the band as Tom's replacement. But now it seems like the band have completely moved on from all that as drummer Travis Barker might have confirmed a new blink-182 album for 2016.

The band teased new material back in September by posting photos on Instagram of them in the studio, and now is seems like the band are set to drop a new album sometime next year. Taking to Instagram again, Travis posted a picture of him playing with side project Antemasque, later confirming the news in a comment. He also confirmed a new Antemasque album, two Transplants EPs and a solo album- 2016 is going to be very busy for him! You can see the post and the comment below.

The new blink-182 album will be the first to feature Matt Skiba, so it will be interesting to see whether the band will change their sound to suit the new line-up. But whatever the sound is, it's sure to be amazing.
